Overview

Your Battery Is Dying ("the App") is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No crash reports sent to external servers
• No account creation required
• No internet connection required for operation

Data Storage

The App stores only your preferences locally on your device using macOS's standard UserDefaults system:

• Alert threshold percentage (1-50%)
• Launch at login preference (on/off)
• Sound alert preference (on/off)

These settings never leave your device.

System Access

The App accesses only:

• Battery Information — Reads your Mac's battery level and charging status using Apple's public IOPowerSources API. This is read-only access to system battery data.
• Login Items — If you enable "Launch at Login," the App registers itself with macOS's SMAppService to start automatically.

The App runs in a sandboxed environment as required by the Mac App Store.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
